Diving with Bommie

Chiba Ito Bommie offers a thrilling 100% encounter with over 200 endemic Japanese hound sharks. These sharks are not nurse sharks but proper sharks with teeth. To participate, you need at least 30 tank dive experiences, as you may encounter very strong currents. Be prepared to handle yourself against the current. Diving time is limited to 40 minutes, including safety stops. Stay close to the guide, and ensure you have a dive computer and emergency float. Divers set up tanks independently. Rentals are limited, so please request in advance or bring your own gear.

As the diving location is in a remote area, bring your own lunch or dine at the nearby seafood restaurant "Daibo" (closed on Tuesdays), located next to the dive shop.

Free Pick-Up & Drop-Off Service

Select Tateyama Resort Hotel for free pick-up and drop-off hotel service to the dive site.
